Dementia care at Cherry Lodge
We tailor everything we do to your loved one’s needs and preferences so they can continue to enjoy a great lifestyle. Our Working home has been designed to support residents who are living with dementia to retain a sense of identity as well as independence and choice, even as their abilities change. Here your loved one can dine with dignity and enjoy the benefits of enriching activities such as music, art, light exercise and reminiscence. What’s more, an experienced carer is always only seconds away.
Getting to know you

We take the time to get to know you and your loved one, putting each individual's needs, desires and choices at the heart of the care we provide.
Philosophy of care

Philosophy of care
Our residents are treated with the utmost dignity and respect and each one is provided with the level of support necessary to enable them to maintain independence of choice.
In this respect we maintain a supportive and structured environment and an open, positive atmosphere where we consult our residents. We hold regular meetings to listen to their suggestions and obtain feedback as to how we can improve our home.
We also ensure that we provide flexibility in the daily routines of the home.
Wherever possible we actively encourage our residents to retain their abilities for self care and to carry out the tasks of daily living unaided.
