Domiciliary Care
We help local seniors to enjoy their lives by working together with them and their loved ones and providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment.
By offering care at home for adults living in the Tandridge area we enable clients to continue to live safely, comfortably and as independently as possible in their own homes. Our staff are kind and caring and develop positive relationships with our customers, always treating them with respect and maintaining their privacy and dignity at all times.

Services
We provide a high quality of care and support with a complete range of services, including personal care, household assistance and support.
Our experienced and highly trained Care Options carers complement our sister company, Cherry Lodge Rest Home to provide a complete care package, residential and domicilliary, for people over 65, in and around the Tandridge district of Surrey (including Caterham, Whyteleafe, Warlingham, Woldingham).
Care Options was established by Mrs Cherie Callender, the agency’s Registered Manager, in 1998. It is a domiciliary care agency supporting around 60-70 older people, some with dementia, who live at home and are cared for by our team of friendly staff.
The agency offers temporary or regular assistance depending on the needs of the individual.
Care is provided by regular staff who understand clients’ needs and preferences. Staff are kind and caring and have positive relationships with the people they support. Clients are encouraged and supported to maintain their independence. Staff treat people with respect and maintain their privacy and dignity when providing their care.
Staff all receive induction and ongoing training. The induction process includes shadowing experienced staff to understand people’s needs and preferences. Staff are well-supported by the management team. Staff meet with their line managers regularly to discuss their performance and training needs.
People’s needs are assessed before they first use the service. They are involved in their assessments and the planning of their care. Care plans are reviewed regularly to ensure they continue to accurately reflect people’s needs. We monitor clients’ health and report any concerns promptly. Care Options communicates effectively with other professionals, ensuring that people’s healthcare needs were met. We ensure that we understand people’s dietary needs and prepare their food in the way they prefer. We encourage people who are reluctant to eat to maintain adequate nutrition.
We plan care to meet individual needs. People are supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives. We support people in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests; our policies and systems support this practice. We ask for and record people’s consent to care every step of the way. We provide reliable, well-planned care. People are always able to contact us when they need to and access any information they require. Staff time-keeping is important to us and we will be sure to inform people of any unavoidable changes. Spot checks are carried out to ensure staff provide people’s care safely and in the way they prefer. We contact people regularly to seek their views and act upon their feedback. Any complaints received are managed in line with the our written complaints procedure. Complaints are investigated by the registered manager and action is taken to address any issues raised.
